Due to continued expansion we are currently seeking a Shop Assistant to join our very busy sales and hire office. The successful applicant will ideally have an existing knowledge of plant and machinery.
Duties to Include :
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer
- enquiries/queries
- Managing point of sale processes, including cash, card & credit transactions
- Overseeing stock control & goods inward
- Recommending suitable plant/tools/machinery to suit customer requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Ability to prioritise workload
