Your new role

Curtin University has a full-time continuing opportunity for a Stores Assistant to support the Store Coordinator in ensuring the smooth operation of the new store facility for the Health Technology Delivery Team.

This role is ideal for someone who is just starting their career and eager to learn. Your responsibilities will include safely moving stock between locations, handling goods manually, and assisting with basic ordering and administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Move stock safely between locations using proper manual handling techniques.
• Help manage inventory by checking stock levels and assisting with regular stocktakes.
• Support in receiving and checking of goods, ensuring items are stored correctly.
• Use of University systems to assist in the purchasing of consumables and equipment.
• Keep storage and working areas tidy, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Utilise a company vehicle to transport stock around campus and to external facilities.
• Take on other tasks as needed that match the role and help grow your skills.

Role Requirements:

• As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
