Are you a commercially driven retail leader ready to take ownership of a premium CBD store and lead a high-performing team?

M.J. Bale is seeking an experienced and results-focused Store Business Manager to lead our Brisbane Wintergarden store. Located in the heart of the CBD, this is a key flagship location within our network, requiring a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment.

The Opportunity

As Store Business Manager, you will have full accountability for store performance, team development and operational excellence.

Drive Commercial Success

Deliver sales targets, KPIs and overall store profitability

Analyse trading performance and identify growth opportunities

Drive average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT) and database growth

Develop strong clienteling strategies to grow repeat business and VIP engagement

Build relationships within the CBD corporate market

Lead & Inspire Your Team

Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing retail team

Lead from the front, demonstrating premium selling techniques

Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism and pride

Conduct regular performance and development conversations

Create a motivating and supportive store environment

Deliver Premium Customer Experience

Provide personalised styling and tailored service

Drive appointment-based selling and Custom opportunities

Ensure service standards consistently reflect the M.J. Bale brand

Build long-term client relationships that drive loyalty

Operational Excellence

Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation standards

Oversee stock management and inventory accuracy

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Drive operational consistency and efficiency

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader

Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage P&L performance

Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding KPIs

Passion for menswear and premium customer service

Strong leadership and team development capability

Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused

Comfortable leading in a fast-paced CBD retail environment
