WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Professional experience as a Logistics/Supply Chain Leader in fast-changing omnichannel environments
  • Interest for Retail and Commercial dynamics connected to logistics
  • Good knowledge of Customer Fulfilment performance monitoring and influencing factors
  • Good knowledge of working methods securing excellence in Fulfilment Operation processes together with relevant stakeholders
  • Very good knowledge of different leadership styles and how to adapt it according to needs and different situations
  • Attention to safety
  • Good knowledge of resource planning in accordance with potential sales scenarios, forecast and fulfilment flows allocation
  • Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others and ability to inspire and engage others while being business-minded and having a clear customer focus
  • Capability to lead in the unknown and transforming environment and to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Capability to give and take responsibility and empower colleagues to be entrepreneurial
  • Ability to lead and coach while learning and developing and to build trust by communicating in a clear and targeted way
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY



You will refer to the Store Logistics Manager.

You will be:



  • Responsible for securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) in order to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience
  • Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, unit management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, in order to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost
  • Accountable to ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
  • Responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment
