Job Description (JD) – Stores & Inventory Executive

Department: Stores & Inventory
Location: Balangir, Odisha

Job Objective

To manage day-to-day store operations, maintain accurate inventory records, ensure proper receipt and issuance of materials, and coordinate with internal departments for timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle receipt, verification, storage, and issuance of materials as per approved procedures.
• Prepare and record Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) in Zoho and Excel, and maintain inventory records in the system.
• Verify materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices, including quantity and physical condition.
• Classify and maintain stock records for raw feed, consumables, packaging materials, medicines, vaccines, and other items.
• Process material requisitions from Production, Operations, and other departments.
• Ensure proper authorization and documentation for all material issues and dispatches.
• Maintain and organize invoices, delivery challans, material requisitions, and other store-related documents.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Operations, and Accounts teams for smooth store functioning.
• Conduct physical stock verification and report shortages, excess stock, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and housekeeping of all materials.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software such as Zoho; knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage.
• Good documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock record maintenance.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
