Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Store Lead to join our retail team! As a Store Lead, you will be the driving force behind daily store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while managing a team of dedicated employees. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development.
  • Manage scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to optimize store coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales potential.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.
  • Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales performance.
  • Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, cashiering, and financial recordkeeping with accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with proven supervising experience in retail or grocery environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and retail math to meet sales goals.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to train staff on customer service excellence, merchandising techniques, and store policies.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, budgeting, and store management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
