Word is going around that Johnny Gio’s been making the best pizzas in town, so we’re looking for passionate Store Managers to join La Famiglia and lead our stores in the Sydney region. You’ll play a key role in making the pizzas come fast and tasty; while making sure each customer feels like family.
Key Responsibilities:
People Leadership:
- Train and develop the management team to foster effective leadership.
- Motivate and inspire staff, creating a positive connection with both team members and guests.
- Optimize staffing to align with our brand’s needs.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure seamless operations and exceptional service at each store.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational performance to enhance the overall customer experience.
Operational Excellence:
- Uphold compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe work environment, adhering to OH&S regulations.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Store Management:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on all systems and processes.
- Ensure all staff are well-versed in brand protocols.
- Proactively manage COGS and labour costs, completing regular Quality Assurance Reviews.
Financial Accountability:
- Drive sales growth, volume targets, and effective cost control.
- Monitor volume forecasts and manage restaurant labour costs.
- Utilize business data to inform strategic decision-making.
About you:
- Excellent knowledge of QSR/casual dining restaurant operations.
- Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of current and future food trends including health and product issues.
- Working knowledge of Word & Excel, and business systems management.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience working in the management of a service-driven food and beverage business.
- Experience in successfully managing operational efficiencies- food costs, labour, wastage.
- Ability to manage a P&L, weekly budget, forecasting and COGS costing.
- Experience in developing and executing operational procedures and training others on such procedures.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Hold a current RSA and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Degree or certification in Business Management and/or Hospitality desirable (not essential).
