Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to lead and manage store operations, drive sales performance, achieve business targets, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in apparel retail store management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Management

• Manage day-to-day store operations in accordance with company SOPs and standards.
• Maintain store ambience, hygiene, visual merchandising, product presentation, and floor standards.
• Ensure efficient replenishment, stock availability, and inventory management.
• Monitor stock movement, conduct stock audits, and minimize shrinkage and pilferage.
• Ensure proper cash handling, store opening and closing procedures, and operational compliance.
• Implement promotional activities and maintain brand standards.

2. Sales & Revenue Management

• Achieve store sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
• Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance regularly.
• Analyze sales trends, secondary sales, stock levels, and SKU-level performance.
• Develop action plans to improve sales, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
• Drive business growth through customer engagement, promotions, and local marketing activities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to management.

3. Customer Service & Experience

• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Drive customer loyalty programs and repeat business.
• Build strong customer relationships and maintain high service standards.

4. Team Management & Development

• Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the store team.
• Allocate responsibilities and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
• Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
• Identify training needs and develop team capabilities to improve productivity.

5. Administration & Compliance

• Coordinate with the Head Office regarding staffing, operations, and business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit standards.
• Implement corrective action plans based on audit and mystery shopping findings.
• Protect company assets and ensure proper maintenance of store facilities.
• Ensure timely completion of operational reports and administrative activities.

Required Candidate Profile

• Graduate with 1–6 years of progressively responsible experience in apparel retail store management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a retail environment.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management, sales analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Computer literate with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional grooming, a pleasant personality, and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage store operations independently and lead a team toward business objectives.
