Whelan Plant Sales are recruiting for a suitable store person to join our team. This role will be based in Barefield, Ennis, Co. Clare. It will involve serving customers, packing orders and dealing with suppliers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Read parts catalogue and determine the correct parts required

· Take customer orders and fill them from stock

· Take delivery of stock

· To be able to deal with customers over the phone and at counter sales level

· Stock taking and general store work

· Labelling / packaging

· Dealing with suppliers

· Restocking of high moving lines and management of consumables

· Maintain a tidy and safe working environment

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Previous experience in a busy stores department is advantageous

· Forklift driving experience

· High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others and meet tight schedules

· IT and administration skills needed

· Work well under pressure

· Experience of construction or agricultural machinery

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
