Introduction:
About the Business
We’re a growing, forward-thinking business delivering high-quality modular construction solutions right here in Armidale.
At Uniplan Group, we do things differently — combining smart systems, efficient manufacturing, and a strong team culture to deliver projects faster and better.
As one of NSW’s largest modular building manufacturers and leaders in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), we bring over 25 years of experience to everything we do. Our Armidale factory is a dynamic production environment, where buildings move through a precise, regulated ‘drum beat’ — transforming from a steel chassis into a completed, ready-to-occupy building in as little as 21 days.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to be part of something bigger — building not just projects, but a strong future for our team and community.
Our Mission
To be a role model in our field, support our local community, elevate our people, and build lasting relationships — all within a hardworking, family-oriented culture grounded in strong ethics.
Our Values
- We’re a team of spirited, hardworking people
- We innovate to grow
- We make a difference
- We believe in what we do
- We make things easy for our customers
- We show respect to one another
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised team player to take ownership of our incoming materials and warehouse flow.
As our Storeman, you’ll play a critical role in the production process — ensuring materials are received, checked, stored, and ready when the team needs them. In our fast-paced modular manufacturing environment, getting this right is essential to keeping projects moving.
If you’re someone who takes pride in a well-run workspace, values efficiency, and enjoys hands-on work as part of a team, this is a great opportunity to be part of something bigger.
Core Accountabilities
- Receive and inspect materials for modular construction
- Ensure all materials are stored correctly to support production processes
- Follow standardised systems and processes to maximise efficiency and accuracy
- Unload deliveries safely and efficiently to maintain yard and warehouse flow
- Check and receipt materials into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders
- Put away goods accurately in line with lean and kanban systems
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Ensure materials are readily available to support production timelines
- Contribute to a strong, safe, and team-oriented workplace
What You’ll Bring
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A highly organised and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Pride in maintaining a clean, efficient workspace
- Experience using computer systems such as ERP software and MS Excel
- Current forklift licence with safe operating experience
- Construction White Card
- Knowledge of building materials (desirable but not essential)
