The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Storeperson to join our stores department. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in warehouse or delivery work, who thrives in a hands-on team focused environment.

About the role

Review purchase orders and deliver to the departments as required.
Maintain appropriate levels of stock required on the island between barge deliveries.
Assist with unloading deliveries (6am start on barge days).
Ensure accurate inventory rotation records and safety standards.
Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Accurately process invoices and assist with monthly stocktakes.
Keep the Stores area clean, safe and well organised.
Operate forklift in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and safety regulations.
Report operation issues and needs to the Purchasing Manager.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

Operational knowledge of hospitality (hotels, resorts, restaurants) will be an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Previous forklift, warehouse and delivery experience is highly preferred.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
Flexible availability, including weekend work or public holidays during peak season
Current QLD C class driver's license essential
Forklift license highly regarded.
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
