We are seeking a dedicated and organized Storeroom Assistant to join our team at Havelock North New World Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the storeroom and supporting the overall operations of the supermarket.
Days and Hours:
Sunday -Thursday
1pm-10:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading trucks and delivery vans.
- Scanning off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips / invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory movements.
- Organize and arrange products in the storeroom for easy access.
- Ensure the storeroom is clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift with a current OSH certificate or the ability to gain one.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
