Job Description

We are currently seeking to employ a Stores Controller to our Distribution Support team based in Upper Hutt, Wellington. In this role, you will support our stores team and provide excellent service to internal customers.
About the Role

- Pick and issue stock required for specific company works, preventative/reactive maintenance and contracting jobs as per the relevant documentation provided.
- Load/unload vehicles with the use of a forklift.
- Ensure inward and outward goods meet the required quantity, quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out standard housekeeping duties.
- Ensure accurate inventory control database systems and records are maintained and up to date.
- Stocktaking and cycle counting.
- Report errors or systems issues directly to the supervisor on a timely basis.
- Assist with the purchasing of materials and other supplies as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Have warehouse experience.
- Understanding of inventory control.
- Experience in using computerised warehouse systems e.g., SAP will be ideal.
- Good Communication skills.
- Current forklift licence and F endorsement preferred.
- A valid Full New Zealand drivers’ licence
