The Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate Stormwater/Drainage Technical Lead to join our Melbourne team here at Spiire.
This role will see you:
Being recognised as a technical lead or discipline project director on complex, multi-disciplinary land development projects and contributing high-quality engineering solutions
Leading and supporting project teams to deliver projects such as Stormwater Management Strategies, hydrological and / or flood modelling, as well as design projects such as constructed waterways, wetlands, bioretention systems, or stormwater harvesting schemes
Delivering high-quality technical outcomes for projects on time and to budget
Mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering our strong professional development and quality culture
About You
You are an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer with deep expertise in integrated water management and a reputation as a subject matter expert. You bring technical excellence, a project management mindset and a collaborative working style. You can demonstrate the following:
Significant experience in the design of WSUD assets, waterways, wetlands, water quality systems and alternative water projects.
A strong interest and understanding of stormwater management and integrated water planning.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at senior levels.
Proven capability in project direction, project management methodologies, prioritisation and leading multiple concurrent activities.
Demonstrated leadership in developing others, sharing knowledge and contributing to industry or organisational improvement.
Strong commercial acumen and experience operating within a consulting environment.
Tertiary qualifications in your discipline; professional registration or membership desirable.
