At SQUER, we’re looking for a Strategic Cloud Advisor to help our clients navigate complex transformations, craft modern cloud strategies, and align technology with business goals. You’ll act as a strategic sparring partner across industries, helping customers reinvent how they work, build and grow - with cloud and modern technology as a key enabler.

Your tasks

• Strategic Advisory: Guide enterprise clients through cloud transformation journeys – from vision and roadmap to execution and governance.
• Cloud Strategy: Co-create future-proof cloud architectures and operating models across AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid environments.
• Organizational Enablement: Advise on topics like cloud governance, FinOps, security models and scalable delivery structures.
• Architecture Reviews: Act as a critical reviewer of technical concepts, architecture blueprints or infrastructure patterns
• Customer Engagement: Moderate workshops, lead discussions, and translate complex technical ideas into actionable strategies.
• Business Development: Contribute to SQUER’s growth by supporting pre-sales, creating customer proposals, and identifying new opportunities.
• Thought Leadership: Share your insights via talks, community work or internal enablement – and shape SQUER’s position in the cloud ecosystem.

Your qualifications

• You bring a strong consulting mindset and have at least 3-5 years experience advising clients at the interface of tech & business.
• You understand cloud architectures in depth, even if you're not coding yourself.
• You’re comfortable working across AWS, Azure, GCP and hybrid setups - and know how enterprises think.
• You can structure ideas, lead workshops, create strategic roadmaps, and explain complex topics to stakeholders at all levels.
• You enjoy collaborating with engineers, strategists and decision-makers, and know when to ask the right questions.
• You speak German and English fluently.
