Job Title: Structural Layout Technician

CONCRETE DIVISION

Job Description:

We are seeking a Structural Layout Technician with expertise in concrete forming to join our team. This position involves critical responsibilities in the layout process, ensuring precision for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and experience using total station equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Benchmarking and Elevation Transfer: Set and transfer benchmarks and elevations to ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Marking Pour Heights: Accurately mark pour heights.
• Gridline Layout: Establish and lay out gridlines.
• Forming Layout: Lay out forming elements, including columns, walls, footings, and other structural components, with precision.
• Equipment Operation: Utilize total station equipment for accurate measurements and layouts.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets required tolerances and complies with project and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete forming and structural layout.
• Proficiency with total station equipment and associated layout software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Physical ability to perform duties in a construction environment, including standing, lifting, and working outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in large-scale construction projects or complex forming systems.
• Certification or formal training in surveying or construction layout.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
