Student Assistant At Ime job opportunity

Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are looking for a Student Assistant from 1 September 2025 till 30 April 2026. 14 hours pr week.

Potiental tasks:

Refinement of the dynamic modelling of a transcritical CO 2 heat pump with and without ejector : (i) Enhancement of the dynamic modelling of a transcritical CO 2 heat pump with and without ejector in both heating mode and cooling one and validation against the experimental data collected in the Thermal laboratory; (ii) Use of the validated simulation model for implementing a suitable control algorithm for ejector-equipped reversible CO 2 heat pumps.
Development and demonstration of an energy optimizing algorithm for reversible CO 2 heat pumps (with and without ejector) : (i) Use of the previously implemented simulation model for implementing an appropriate energy optimizing control approach for reversible CO 2 heat pumps (with and without ejector) to ensure the best performance under the given conditions; (ii) Demonstration of the algorithm in the Thermal laboratory.
Development and demonstration of an optimal maintenance schedule algorithm for reversible CO 2 heat pumps (with and without ejector) : (i) Use of the validated simulation model for optimizing the maintenance schedule of reversible CO 2 heat pumps (with and without ejector); (ii) Demonstration of the algorithm in the Thermal laboratory.

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
