About the Role:
Passionate about helping students explore the world? As a Global Student Mobility Coordinator, you will play a key role in enabling and coordinating student mobility across Curtin’s global network.
In this role, you will coordinate inter-campus and reciprocal exchange activities and New Colombo Plan campus projects. Working closely with Curtin’s global campuses, you will identify mobility opportunities with partner universities, ensure they are well managed and sustainable, determine training and risk requirements and assess global campus readiness to support both inbound and outbound mobility.
You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting mobility data and contributing to continuous improvement of mobility processes and student experience.
If you’re highly organised, collaborative, and interested in promoting student mobility, this role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Curtin’s Study Abroad and Mobility Strategy and support impactful global learning experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and optimise the use of reciprocal exchange places across Curtin’s global campuses.
- Scope potential New Colombo Plan (NCP) programs in collaboration with global campuses.
- Oversee the coordination of inter-campus exchange students undertaking a semester at a Curtin Global Campus.
- Maintain accurate data mapping and reporting on cross-campus student mobility.
- Assess and review global campus readiness to support both inbound and outbound mobility activity.
- Contribute to Curtin’s Study Abroad and Mobility Strategy by working across the portfolio to support initiatives such as the Global Scholars Program and Campus Transfers, delivering training to global campuses, and monitoring student experience and satisfaction across mobility programs.
- Proven experience providing high-level administrative coordination, including applying policies, and advising on rules and entitlements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships.
- Experience working in international and cross-cultural settings, with sensitivity to cultural differences and communication styles.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess situations and provide practical solutions.
- Effective organisational and time management skills, including experience coordinating events and managing competing priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail.
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
- Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
