Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and excited about energy trading? Centrica Energy in Aalborg is looking for a Student Assistant to support our Portfolio Management team. You’ll work with data, analysis and contract evaluations to help optimise our renewable energy portfolio and processes.

About the role

In this role, you’ll support the Portfolio Management team with data preparation, analysis and contract evaluation tasks that are essential to our renewable energy portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data preparation and validation

• Analysis and presentation of results

• Evaluation and implementation of new ideas

• Improvement and automation of processes

• Management of price requests

This role is approx. 15 hours per week and with full flexibility during exams.

About you

You’re a structured and analytical thinker who enjoys working with data and taking responsibility. You’re not afraid to ask questions and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years left on their studies

• Has strong attention to detail

• Is confident working with data and has relevant experience in either Python or R

• Communicates clearly and effectively

• Is proactive and takes ownership of tasks

• Is excited about the energy transition
