Student Research Assistants For A Project At Department Of Economics

The Department of Economics is looking for a student research assistant to assist with a project on political ideas in the 17 th century.

Application deadline Monday 18 May.

The work will involve the labelling of and processing of historical source material from the 17 th century. The content of the work will be relevant for your further course of study.

The work will involve

• Reading and labelling the sentiment of short text passages from English 17 th century books
• Assisting in the processing of student matriculation lists from the 17 th century
• Good command of English expected
Prior experience with old texts can be an advantage, but is not expected

The project takes place within the Department of Economics, but students from other fields are also encouraged to apply.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Estimated number of working hours per week is approx. 10 hours.

Employment will be from 1 June until 31 December 2026.

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).

Application must include cover letter, CV and transcript of grades. All documents in connection with the application should not contain CPR number (civil registration number) - in that case, the CPR number must be crossed out.

In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
