The Nest Yoga Saint John is looking for a Studio Manager!

The Studio Manager manages the day-to-day and back-end operation of The Nest Yoga SJ!

This team member will ensure that everyone involved at The Nest Yoga SJ has what they need to complete their roles with excellence.

The studio Manager is the go-to team member for all staff, customers, and instructors!

The Studio Manager should be able to function as a desk staff member and execute all aspects of the retail sales system.

The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in the retail and wellness industry, excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and has 2+ years of management experience.

This is a Full-time opportunity, mostly daytime (with occasional evening and weekends) that offers a wonderful environment to work in, competitive compensation, free yoga, and a discount on Lululemon (and other brands) apparel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage studio, staff, instructor's schedule and energy exchange participants.
• Provide exceptional product knowledge to empower clients and guests to make informed buying decisions for lululemon retail as well as yoga membership/pass options.
• Communicator between the staff and the owner.
• Overseeing part-time and full-time front desk staff members. (Must understand and implement the front desk role).
• Overseeing processes and ensuring they are being followed.
• Quality Checks
• Customer Service
• Fill the role of “yoga advisor” for new and existing students

• You have great leadership skills

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education or equivalent experience in business administration (management).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manager role or retail industry.
• MindBody system experience is an asset.
• Experience in retail, yoga or health industry preferred.
• Yoga/Fitness instructor certification is an asset.
