Job Summary
Dates: June 15th-July 16th
A Camp Counselor will serve as the primary point of contact for the families/site, act as the on-site liaison, plan and implement lessons, set and reinforce staff and student expectations, and coordinate daily schedules for students/additional staff.

Essential Job Functions
- Maintaining a positive relationship with youth, adults/guardians, and other staff members, including community center and school staff.
- Ability to communicate positively with all participants.
- Planning for and implementing curriculum and activities as the whole group teacher
- General paperwork, including attendance, meal reporting, and timesheets.
- Set and maintain a consistent schedule for students, including mealtime and tutoring sessions.
- Collaborating with enrichment providers in terms of placement, group scheduling, and assisting with students' Ability to adapt to changing needs and circumstances, including strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Provides leadership and guidance for all participants.
- Ability to care for and manage children of all diverse backgrounds, both in whole group and individually.
- Check email daily. Respond when necessary.
- Report to IWRBR Program Director.
- Attend monthly staff meeting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Some college coursework in education, child development, or related fields
- College degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with youth, such as tutoring or counseling.
- Experience in an educational or after-school program setting is a plus

Job Type: Part-time
Pay:
$22.00 per hour Lead
$19.00 per hour Assistant
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week with Nonnegotiable hours from 9:00am-1:30pm Monday-Thursday Dates: June 2nd-July 9th
