ToolSense is building the leading AI- and IoT-driven FM Operations Platform for Facility Management. Our mission: become the global leader in FM Operations, a massive industry that is critical to how our world works and where many processes are still handled with Excel, pen & paper, and WhatsApp.

Our Goal

We want to become the leading FM Operations Platform and drive the digitization of this industry. To get there, we need a strong product team that turns customer problems into clear business priorities and makes ToolSense better every day.

Your Role

As an Intern in IoT team, you will support our IoT Operations team with technical documentation, device configuration descriptions, hardware testing, BOM and pricing research, ERP tasks, and shipment or assembly support.

You will help document IoT devices, use cases, system architecture, and onboarding materials, while also supporting practical IoT operations and reporting tasks.

This role is ideal for someone studying electronics, embedded systems, or computer science who is hands-on, curious, reliable, and motivated to learn.

What you’ll be working on:

• Technical documentation - devices, use cases, system architecture, and onboarding materials
• KiCad library support and simple hardware testing tasks
• Device configuration descriptions for internal use (Teltonika / Digital Matter)
• Pricing research and BOM support
• ERP tasks - new customer creation, cross-checking item images, and related admin work
• Shipment and assembly support
• If you’re interested, there’s also room to gain hands-on experience writing scripts and building small tools, plus a general understanding of how IoT systems work end-to-end - from edge devices to live data on a frontend dashboard. We’re happy to share our expertise and make time for you to learn.

We are looking for:

• Currently studying electronics, embedded systems, or computer science (FH Technikum Wien, HTL, or TU Wien)
• Curious and genuinely motivated to learn - this matters more to us than ticking every box
• A collaborative, hands-on attitude and the drive to get things done
  Some familiarity with the areas listed above is a great plus - but if you’re still building your knowledge, that’s perfectly fine

• A remuneration of EUR 1,300 gross per month for 38.5 hours per week.
