Green Oasis Services provides fertilizer, weed control, tree care, and vegetation management services across Alberta. Since 1994, we have delivered professional solutions to residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial clients.

We are currently hiring motivated post-secondary students for summer positions. This role offers strong earning potential, extensive overtime opportunities, and valuable hands-on experience working outdoors.

Position Overview
Summer Field Applicators support turf and vegetation management projects by applying fertilizer and weed control products, operating equipment, and traveling to job sites throughout Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer and weed control using truck-mounted sprayers, backpack sprayers, and spreaders
• Operate company service vehicles and travel to urban and rural job sites
• Navigate using GPS and mobile apps
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety procedures

This is a service-focused role and does not involve sales.

Training & Schedule

• Training Start Dates: June
• Training includes spray certification, safety training, and licensing
• Season: June through August 31, with possible work into September

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to work long shifts outdoors (often 60+ hours per week during peak season)
• Reliable transportation to the shop (3930 78 Ave NW, Edmonton)
• CSA steel-toed boots and compliance with company safety policies

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive wages with significant overtime opportunities
• 2025 first-year applicators earned $15,200–$25,000 over the summer
