As a Summer Trainee, Automation/Electrical/Machine Automation Engineer, you will:

Support automation, electrification, or instrumentation-related design tasks in equipment EIA projects.
Assist in configuring and testing automation systems, including PLC-based machine control systems.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to automation and electrical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of automation solutions.
Contribute to documentation, updates in PDM-system and updates of automation-related processes and standards.

Who you are

A higher degree study background in fields such as Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Machine Automation Engineering.
A positive and proactive can-do mindset with a strong work ethic.
Eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed in the role.
A customer-focused and innovative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge in areas such as CAD design (AutoCAD/EPLAN) and/or PLC programming (TIA/Studio 5000) software and PDM tools (Enovia) is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Fluent written and spoken skills in English. Finnish is considered an advantage.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
