Elev8 Centers NJ are looking to expand our AMAZING clinical team to meet the needs of the community at our Detox, Short-term Residential, and Long-term Residential, Co-Occurring Program.

The Supervising Clinician Counselor, with support by administration, is responsible in leading and providing evidence-based practices, holistic modalities, supervision and guidance, and varying therapeutic modalities, to clients and staff; taking a whole person approach in healing the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional aspects of each client. They will provide oversight of client's care for assigned staff caseload and may hold a small caseload themselves (avg 5 clients), if needed, while supervising clinical team members providing Primary and Specialized Group Therapy Sessions and Individual Counseling Sessions, Coordination of treatment, referrals and collateral contacts, Individualized Treatment Planning, Case Management, and Bio psychosocial Assessment..

The supervisor shall also review and ensure the clinical portion of clients’ charts as per the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), CARF accreditation guidelines, ensuring that all documentation completed in a timely manner.

Major Responsibilities:

1. LPC, LCSW , LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist with the ability to supervise (ACS, CCS, etc.) preferred due to dual-licensed clinicians, can accept LCADC with CCS.

2. Proficient knowledge of NJSAMS

3. Assist in completing and reviewing completion of clinical paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments, progress notes, treatment plans and discharge processes.

4. Assist with the development of clinical treatment tracks that are diversified in language and culture that will meet the treatment and service needs of patients and families.

5. Assist in the preparation of weekly case conference and case reviews.

6. Maintain a clean work environment.

7. Familiar with Electronic Health Record (EHR) - use of KIPU preferred

8. Attend/lead regularly scheduled multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT) and present information for Treatment Plan or Treatment Plan Review for clients on caseload.

9. Attend individual and group supervision with Clinical Director of Counseling Services as scheduled.

10. Assist with crisis intervention.

Pay range starts at $85,000 based on licensure and experience.
