The Opportunity

Are you ready to lead and inspire? We’re excited to announce an opening for a Supervisor to lead our dynamic Asphalt Paving team. This full-time role, will oversee asphalt paving projects such as road reconstructions, resurfacing local roads, cark parks, etc, across Melbourne. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and communicate with your crew on project requirements, key deliverables, and drive performance beyond compliance.
Pre-plan and review new projects ensuring all details are accurate before scheduling.
Develop and communicate ITPs, Quality Checks, SWMS, and Risk Assessments.
Plan, coordinate, and manage materials, ensuring projects stay under budget.
Foster effective communication within the team to enhance efficiency and cultivate a collaborative, supportive, and empowered team environment.
Guide and develop your team, focusing on performance and growth.
Manage the department's vehicle, plant, and machinery, including pre-starts and maintenance.
Promote a safety-first culture, identifying all quality and environmental hazards and risks.

What We’re Looking For:
Valid Driver’s Licence - HR Licence (highly regarded but not mandatory)
Red/White Construction Card
Supervisory experience in Asphalt Paving or Civil Construction
Strong asphalting experience
First Aid qualification
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Valid plant competencies for Asphalt Paving (Pavers, Roller, Bobcat etc.)
