What you’ll be doing:
Our ideal candidate:
- You will have experience coordinating projects, programs or initiatives that require collaboration across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. You understand how to turn plans into action, keep work moving and support others to deliver quality outcomes.
- You are a supportive leader who provides guidance, coaching and day-to-day direction to team members while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. You build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with a broad range of people, including colleagues, volunteers, community members and partner organisations.
- You are comfortable working in a supporting leadership role, balancing operational delivery with longer-term priorities. You take a practical approach to problem-solving, adapt well to changing circumstances and look for opportunities to improve the way work is delivered.
- You have sound judgement, a collaborative approach and the ability to build trust with both internal and external stakeholders. A genuine appreciation of community service and volunteer-based organisations will be highly regarded, along with a commitment to customer service and supporting safer, more resilient communities.
