We are looking for a “Supervisor Quality & Programs”. In this position you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Inbound and Programs teams. You will lead 2 teams: a team at Receiving and Inspections as well as a team in our Programs department.
Our Receiving team handles all incoming goods and performs a visual quality inspection as well as ensure all the product certificates are correct and accurate. As we service the airline industry, quality is of the utmost importance to our customers and ourselves. Our Programs team picks, packs (in order of installation) and ships kitting solutions for aircraft maintenance to key customers.
Job Summary
In this role you will:
- Ensure that the operations are managed and staffed appropriately to meet organizational goals and in accordance with company policies and procedures,
- Be responsible for ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming into the warehouse,
- Be responsible for our Programs department to ensure on time delivery of our assembled kits,
- Be working on the Lean Transformation of the departments, systems, and processes,
- Be working towards continuous improvement,
- Ensure the strategic vision and goals of the Company and the Quality organization are well-communicated,
- Ensure employee performance outcomes and behaviors are in alignment,
- Champion individual professional development within the team and make time to mentor and empower the team with what they need to complete their daily tasks via servant leadership principles and 1:1’s,
- Be participating in the applicable quality, WMS and Programs meetings,
- Assist with Internal audits.
Qualifications / Requirements for success
We are seeking the following skillset for this position:
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English, sufficient to write business correspondence and to converse professionally with other leaders, auditing personnel and other teams,
- Analytical, curious, and professional team player, with the capability to drive the lean transformation continue to develop this department,
- Proficiency with ERP Software and Excel (Pivot tables, create tables and charts),
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading a team with a variety of personalities,
- Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills. Must be self-motivated and able to proactively manage time to meet deadlines and commitments and is achievement focused.
