About Shoe Suite

Shoe Suite is a third-generation, family-run Irish footwear retailer with six premium stores across Ireland. We are known for our strong customer service, high-quality brands, and a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to retail.

We are currently looking for a reliable, experienced Supervisor to support the Store Manager in our Douglas Court location.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Supervisor role working closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store.

• 24 hours minimum (3 days per week)
• Flexibility to work up to 32 hours (4 days) when required
• Must be available to work Sundays
• Typically, you will have Saturdays off, with Sunday being a key working day

This role suits someone who is dependable, experienced, and comfortable stepping in to take responsibility when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations
• Lead the shop floor in the Manager’s absence
• Deliver strong, consistent customer service
• Assist with staff supervision, daily planning, and store standards
• Maintain merchandising, stockroom organisation, and overall presentation
• Handle customer queries confidently and professionally
• Ensure the store runs smoothly day-to-day

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail experience (fashion/footwear preferred)
• Experience in a supervisory or senior sales role
• A reliable, get-on-with-it attitude
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting the Store Manager
• Flexible and dependable with availability
• Someone who takes responsibility and can be trusted to step up when needed

This role will suit someone who enjoys retail, knows what’s required day-to-day, and is happy to be a key support in a well-run store environment.
