- Ensure Company Policies and Regulations are followed by all personnel within Stores and ensuring that any changes are communicated and implemented swiftly
- Establish and develop various reports and metrics related to workflow improvement and performance analysis
- Draft detailed process instructions to describe the various functions related to the Stores Department
- Review all activities for inventory control, receiving, shipping, storage location, and monitoring all processes across the Stores Department
- Plan daily workload for each Aircraft Material Handler and hold daily shift briefings to discuss priorities and distribute tasks
- Lead and motivate Aircraft Material Handlers, ensuring that high standards of performance are maintained especially as it relates to accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate cycle counts, inventory audits, monthly financial reporting and other duties as assigned
- Monitor and coordinate with all out-bases to ensure inventory related procedures are accomplished as needed
- Carry out all training for Aircraft Material Handlers, work with Quality Assurance to maintain and update all Training Manuals and Procedures as required
- Ensure communication with the Manager regarding daily operational issues and events
- Work with Quality Assurance Manager and other operation team members/managers to ensure that issues are fully investigated and provide solutions and corrections
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned, back up to manager as required

- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must have a valid Class G2 or G driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Airport Restricted Area Pass and DA AVOP
- Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on-time reporting)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- A college degree or equivalent is required
- Should possess 2 years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of inventory tracking or aircraft maintenance software is an asset (preferably AMOS)
- Preferebly at least 5 years of Aviation stores experience
- Must be available to work 12 hour 4 on 4 off day shifts
