Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? The Clutha District Council is looking for a dedicated Supervisor to join our Urban Reticulation team.
Role Overview:
As the Supervisor Urban Reticulation, you'll manage a team responsible for maintaining and repairing defects in the urban water, wastewater, and drainage reticulation networks. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these networks while upholding best-practice safety, quality, and service delivery standards.
Key Requirements:
- Team leadership experience working in a collective and collaborative leadership environment.
- General understanding of New Zealand drinking water standards and environmental consenting requirements.
- Exposure to working with distribution networks is desirable.
- Ability to assess risks to personal health and safety, as well as public health and environmental safety.
- Genuinely committed to providing high quality customer services
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums—verbal, written, and electronic.
- Proficiency in using or ability to learn Council’s electronic systems, including Ozone, M-Files, and Microsoft Office.
- Current full driver’s license
