Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

· Use the Master Production File to forecast requirements and ensure stock availability in line with production planning

· Forecasting to ensure stock is on hand at the right time

· Create purchase orders in Sage 50 and issue to suppliers. Complete the full purchasing process in Sage 50

· Regular stock counts and full responsibility for inventory management.

· Awareness of inventory with long lead times, forecasting and planning for these.

· Communicate with suppliers and co-ordinate delivery schedules

· Communicate with Store Manager and Finance to ensure most efficient use of products and stock required

· Provide assistance to the Production Manager as required to ensure the line runs smoothly

· Review pricing and transport costs for the Business as a whole

· Provide assistance to Director as required

· Initially candidate will be required to spend some time on the Factory floor in the capacity of stores _ warehousing. This is to ensure adequate understanding of part numbers, locations and the day to day workings, as purchaser will be required to work closely at all times with this function
