Supply Chain Director

Position

T his position will define Supply Chain & Logistics strategy at country level in accordance with the global vision, lead the Distribution & Logistics team and CARE services team to enable business development with appropriate service levels, optimized costs and inventory level, achieved corporate social responsibility goals.

Job responsibilities

• Drive the Supply Chain & Logistics organization to support the development of the business on supply chain and logistics activities such as distribution center operation, distribution planning, custom activities, compliance and transportation
• Oversee the demand and supply planning by analyzing and managing the overall inventory level in the retail network and local distribution centers to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand as well as event schedule
• Oversee warehouse operation to drive service quality and efficiency
• Drive and support the logistics team to reduce the global lead time and enhance supply chain reactivity
• Translate CARE Services strategy and Retail Quality objectives into local initiatives and change management plan in local market across different teams
• Collaborate closely with regional and global partners in Supply Chain & Care thru timely efficient and effective communication
• Ensure cooperation and communication with various stakeholders (Retail, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics) on supply chain, distribution, logistics and CARE & Quality objectives and actions
• Define KPI’s, target to manage performance review to drive for operations excellence with reliability and agility
• Identify and develop effective and efficient partnerships with subcontractors/service providers to ensure service quality and compliance
• Sharing best practices with other regions and strive for standardization and harmonization of processes whenever possible
• Identify and improve the overall supply chain, distribution & logistics and care & quality service operations in sustainability aspects
• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as Dior & LVMH rules and guidelines
• Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity
• Manage a team of supply chain professional guidance, providing guidance, support and training as required

Profile

• University degree holder preferably in supply chain or logistics or engineering related discipline
• At least 15 years work experience including luxury or fashion retail for end-to-end supply chain management with at least 5 years of a large team management
• Experiences in leading projects in supply chain, distribution & logistics, quality and care services
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions
• High level of understanding, knowledge and experience in supply chain and logistics operations in retail
• Experience in multinational company with matrix organization to manuever different stakeholders across different functions
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of each individual professionals
• Excellent in communications skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Dynamic, proactive and able to work in fast-paced and multicultural environment.
• Excellent in presentation and moderation skills
• Good knowledge of computer applications, Power PI, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint
• Proficient level of English in verbal and written
• Flexibility to travel as required
