Amazon Sea seeks a Supply Chain Manager that combines collaborative and analytical skills with a passion for problem solving on behalf of our customers to join a team of high-performing program managers responsible for managing network execution and launches. This SCM will be responsible for Amazon Sea's network expansion and managing launch life cycle while working with multiple internal team. As an external-facing member of the team, this person should be an articulate leader, and should possess excellent written/verbal communication skills to influence positive outcomes for Amazon's customers as well as an eye for automation. Key job responsibilities You would be a great fit for this role if you enjoy and excel at: -Working in fast paced, high impact, dynamic business environments while overseeing complex, cross functional programs with internal and external stakeholders -Engaging with internal Amazon stakeholders to drive network optimization impacting cost, speed and sustainability goals -Leveraging data and performance metrics to drive business results -Partnering with finance, strategy, legal and network teams to shape future growth plans and guide sea liners and deicing partners through new launches and other special projects -Develop thesis around automated network change management to organically help business volumes grow A day in the life - Work with Supply chain/Network planning teams to identify launch opportunities - Discuss with the BI team on data-tracking progress in our collaborating ports - Evaluate network performance and drive actions with multiple teams involved - Drive end-to-end continuous process improvement programs impacting Launch program cycle - Structure programs within the wider team and build business cases to secure buy-in from teams across Amazon to realize business targets About the team Amazon Sea's EU team is part of EU ATS Intermodal team and is developing a thesis, leveraging waterborne transportation to drive delivery speed, cost, capacity, and carbon benefits.
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
