We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers.

Role Overview:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide support to individuals in their homes and the community, assisting them to live as independently as possible and achieve their NDIS goals.

• 2 Permanent Part-time roles available, based in Kirwan
• 30 hours per fortnight minimum

The successful candidate must be available at short notice and are required to work weekend shifts, sleepovers, and morning, day, or evening shifts as needed.

• Empathetic and reliable, demonstrating compassion and dependability in all interactions;
• Proactive, taking initiative to meet the needs of those you support;
• Strong communicators, able to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members;
• Flexible and adaptable, open to learning and adjusting to varying support needs;
• Team-oriented, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Experience in both one-on-one and group support settings;
• Experience working with challenging behaviours is desired;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills;
• Flexibility to work varying shifts;
• A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
