About the Role
We are seeking to fill multiple Support Worker roles!
Currently we are looking for workers on Thursdays and Fridays as a priority.
Cockburn Care is currently seeking to recruit people who have a can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and be adaptable. We are part of the City of Cockburn, and the clients we service reside throughout the city. Our Goal is to provide care and support to our aged residents, enabling them to remain living in their own homes. This includes:
- Domestic Assistance- Home cleaning (Cleaning makes up approximately 80% of a support worker’s daily tasks)
- Personal Care- Assistance with showering and hygiene
- Transportation- Assistance to medical appointments and shopping
- In-home Respite
- Social support in accessing and staying connected to the community
As a Support Worker you would be required have a driver’s licence and reliable and clean vehicle, as you will be traveling to each individual client you support, as well as transporting clients in your car. Mileage and travel time is reimbursed. Training and a full induction including buddy shifts are provided.
What you’ll need
- Cert III in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability Support
- Valid driver's license and reliable, clean vehicle with registration and insurance
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technology savvy, with experience using mobile apps
- Previous experience in aged care

Salary – $63,429 - $66,810 per annum (pro-rata), dependant on skills and experience.
Hours: Please indicate on your application if you are interested in weekday or weekend / evening work. Our evening work is generally from 4pm to 7pm.
