About the role

Reporting to the Survey Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the survey and set out of civil projects and will need to possess the following:

•
Proven surveying experience in the civil construction industry with effective planning, organisation and problem-solving skill sets.

•
Strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to engage with all members of the construction team including Site Engineer and Supervisors.

•
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and manage conflicting and tight priorities.

•
Computer literacy, particularly with surveying software Trimble Business Center, 12D, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

•
Experience with Trimble and/or Leica Robotic Totals Station and RTK-GNSS. Experience with 3D Machine Guidance systems are preferable but not essential.

•
Experience with Civil Construction Surveys including, Bulk Earthworks, Road Pavement and Utility Construction. Topographic Detail Surveys and Establishment of Survey Control Networks.

•
Ability to review design information (Digital and Plan Information) to calculate day-to-day setouts.

•
Reduce and draft Electronic and Hardcopy Survey plans from Fieldwork.

•
Prepared to work for Company Work Integrated Management System (WH&S, Quality & Environment).

•
As-built surveys, Conformance surveys and reporting for QA.

•
Familiar with Topcon Robotic Stations and GPS units with Magnet Field and or Pocket 3d Software.

•
Experience with Remote Pilot Aircraft and Remote Pilots License Qualifications are preferable but not essential.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

•
Tertiary qualification in Surveying or similar. (Cert IV Minimum)

•
Experience in the Civil Construction Industry.

•
WHS Industry Induction Card (white card).
