Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of sushi cook, must have experience in hand roll sushi, knowlwdge of Japanese food. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their skills in restaurant operations and food service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi rolls and other Japanese food according to established recipes and standards
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Handle food with care, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies
• Ensure all food items are presented attractively and served promptly
• Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all health regulations and safety procedures during food handling and preparation

Requirements

• Previous experience in sushi roll preparation, restaurant, or kitchen environments.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
• A strong interest in the food industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

Work Location: In person
