Hi, we’re Nexio Projects
Our mission is to empower people and organisations to take their next steps towards shaping a more sustainable future. As trusted advisors to clients across various sectors, we help clarify the complexities of sustainability management and reporting, facilitating bold commitments and ambitious action.
Headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, our dynamic team of over 40 colleagues makes us not only a Great Place To Work®, but a truly unique organisation. Powered by purpose-driven intrapreneurs, we foster an environment where everyone’s voice is heard, and we all can make a lasting positive impact.
Sustainability is at the heart of our organisation. We’ve been a certified B Corp since 2019, and we’re currently the highest-ranking B Corp Way consultancy firm in the Benelux region. We’re also a leading global EcoVadis training partner, and hold a Platinum EcoVadis medal – putting us in the top 1% of all comparable companies.
As a Sustainability Analyst in our Rotterdam Office, you will be actively involved in every aspect of the organisation.
You will actively diagnose and evaluate a company’s sustainability efforts and implement sustainable organisational changes. You will develop and put into practice your understanding of sustainability’s key pillars (environment, ethics, labour, and sustainable procurement), assessment methodologies (such as EcoVadis, BCorp, the SDGs…, etc.), and reporting standards (UNGC, GRI, CDP…, etc.).
- 1+ year of work experience, ideally in a firm where sustainability was a topic covered
- Growth mindset with strong experience and interest in scaling service offerings and solutions
- Fluent in English and French/Dutch/German.
- University degree, ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in business/management studies and sustainability
- Interest or previous experience in providing consultancy services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and other software tools
- Strong presentation skills, delivering engaging, clear, and structured content to wider audiences
- Proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills – making complex ideas accessible and editing others’ writing to ensure clarity
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who works quickly and independently
- Do-er attitude, impact-driven with strong multitasking skills
Your responsibilities:
- Update clients’ sustainability policies, procedures, and reports
- Conduct sustainability gap analyses and develop roadmaps for improvement
- Apply various assessment methodologies (e.g., EcoVadis, BCorp, SDGs) and reporting standards (UNGC, GRI, CDP)
- Provide support on CSRD services
- Identify actions and measures needed to help clients embed sustainability into their core operations
- Conduct research on specific sustainability topics with a creative approach to problem-solving
- Write, analyze, format, and summarize information, including graphs, presentations, and reports
- Support project managers during client-facing calls
- Collaborate effectively with team members and ensure harmonious project delivery
Three good reasons to join us:
Define your Nexio Projects journey
As part of our collaborative, international team, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to expand your knowledge and specialise in the sustainability topics that interest you most.
