We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of SVP Regulatory Reporting.

In this role, you will:

• Credit RWA reporting and relevant strategic change initiatives for The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (‘HBAP’)’s Hong Kong Monetary Authority (‘HKMA’) and PRA regulatory submissions and disclosure.
• This includes presentation of results to a number of senior stakeholders including the Chief Financial Officer for Asia and Middle East, Financial Controllers, Group Head of Regulatory Reporting, as well as the engagement with the HKMA.
• Leading HBAP standalone and its contribution to Group’s regulatory / strategic change initiatives.
• Driving and execution of reporting simplification and automation agenda leveraging latest technology.
• The role holder will manage the teams’ interaction and relationship with key internal stakeholders including Treasury capital Management, Risk, Finance Change and Policy teams as well as regulator requests.
• The role holder will manage a number of regional / Group senior leadership relationships, work with teams across geographies, on multiple products, and systems thereby helping develop strong leadership, communication, stakeholder and project management skills.
• Sustaining an elevated level of control standards and controls environment following IRR standards

To be successful in this role :

• Deep knowledge and demonstrable experience of RWA reporting across PRA and HKMA.
• Experience in large scale regulatory change projects is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex / technical matter effectively.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple demands from stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
• Ability to manage critical decisions in often time pressured situations.
• Experience of managing sizeable teams across multiple geographic locations demonstrating influencing and motivational skills.
