Swim Instructor

The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the role of Swim Instructor. This is a part time permanent role.

The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include midweek and weekends.

The Role, Responsibilities and Duties include;

• Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Lifeguarding
• Maintaining high levels of care, guest interaction and ensuring that an excellent standard of service is provided to users of the Leisure Centre
• Working as part of a team to create a positive environment.
• Ensuring the highest level of customer care and attention for members and hotel guests alike
• To maintain a high standard of the delivery of group and private swim lessons in a fun and enjoyable way.
• Ensuring participants are always safe and reaching their potential.

About The Role

Experience & Qualifications;

• Ideally one years’ experience gained in a similar role.
• Qualified minimum level 1, through Swim Ireland, STA, or Water Safety Ireland.
• Preference for Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification.
• Group lessons & private lesson experience desirable
• Lifeguard Qualified or if not, willing to upskill at the next available course.
• Friendly, Reliable and trustworthy
