We are currently looking for a Swiss-Style CNC Operator/Technician to join our team. This person would be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Operate a Swiss-style CNC lathe to create parts for the medical industry.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Program CNC machines using PartMaster or other relevant software for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
• Utilize hand tools and shop-level math skills for accurate measurements and adjustments during fabrication processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Potentially being an integral part of expanding our Swiss lathe department.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming, including experience with CAM programming or similar.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Experience operating a Swiss-style CNC lather or other CNC lathe types.
• Experience in a metal forming production facility.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality control.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for a 8-hour shift, move around the Swiss lathe machine, and load material into machine.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, notably Excel experience.
