Mo te tunga | About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst, Financial Management Information System (FMIS) based in Wellington. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the system including facilitating access to the system, data integrity, creating and amending projects, general ledger and cost centre codes, managing financial delegations, reporting and month end administration. You will also identify and implement system enhancements, design and develop future system requirements. This includes the opportunity to support implementation, transition, and change management processes.
Ng pumanawatanga ou | What you will bring
We are looking for someone experienced in FMIS, with a detail eye for system and process improvement, someone who can not only provide operational support but can support system enhancements and continuous improvements. You will also bring:
- Experience in supporting, development and understanding of FMIS systems, processes, and databases.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Concur is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present information to inform effective decision making.
- Solutions focussed -able to identify problems or risks and establish solutions to them.
- Experience in managing and prioritising the demands of a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga M ori, and Pacific peoples' culture.
To succeed, you will bring experience in FMIS implementation, planning, testing and the production and implementation of documentation and training. You will also have strong knowledge of end-to-end Finance Information Management Systems and experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Concur systems. You will have a well-developed ability to multi-task and shift gears between competing priorities and enjoy working with different stakeholders.
