This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
Systems Integration Analyst 12 month contract and ideally looking at candidates with Oracle, Mulesoft and complex financial systems experience.
Our client is a leading state government agency dedicated to managing essential services for our great state.
- 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week.

- Hourly rate temporary contract appointment ranging $70 per hour plus 11.5% super to $130 per hour plus 11.5% super. The rate of pay will be defined with the candidate based on skills, experience, or expertise on Oracle, Masterpiece, Integration and Systems Analyst.
- Must be Adelaide South Australia based as 3 to 4 days from the office will be required and some days can be negotiated for the right candidate.
- All applicable award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation for this role.
- National police check required.
The Integration Analyst will undertake a key role in the Finance Reform Program (FRP) being led by our client to replace a state government main financial management system (FMS), Masterpiece. The implementation of a new contemporary FMS, and best practice processes, will fundamentally change the way finance activities are performed across all in-scope Agencies and impact a broad range of stakeholders, including financial, ICT and operational teams.
The Integration Analyst will be responsible for designing system integration and data migration plans for the FRP. The Integration Analyst will also play a key role in system testing and deployment activities.
The Integration Analyst is accountable to the Data Migration or Systems and Integrations Manager and will be required to work closely with the Technical Lead, FRP Team, the Implementation Partner, our client's Service Delivery staff and nominated government employees.
The Integration Analyst will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and undertaking a range of complex integration and data migration functions from the legacy systems to the new systems.
- Designing, developing and documenting solutions, including undertaking engagement, testing and readiness activities with client agencies and vendors.
- Creating plans and tools for the management of historic data, including the integrations in and out of the new financial management system.
- Providing expertise into the development of an operational support model for the new financial management systems, including the approach to enable both Masterpiece and the new system to be supported in parallel during the implementation phase.
- Coordinating and completing documentation and testing of required changes to interfaces and data migration tasks from and to the new finance management system.
- Conducting complex data cleansing, analysis and reconciliation activities for various purposes and work with stakeholders to address data integrity issues.
- Coordinating and undertaking comprehensive system testing to ensure that documented functional and technical requirements have been delivered.
Essential Expertise
- Demonstrate a significant level of experience in data extraction, integrations, conversion, analysis, migration and reporting in a finance environment.
- Demonstrate a significant level of knowledge and experience in the design, testing and deployment of system interfaces.
- Demonstrated analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with expertise in diagnosing, analysing and advising on complex issues.
- High level of attention to detail with demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, both autonomously and in a team environment and exercise initiative, judgement and a significant level of responsibility in resolving complex issues.
- Proven ability to proactively prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines, including managing competing demands and tasks in a demanding work environment.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders and convert complex subject matter into clear and succinct plans and documentation.
- Significant level of knowledge of ICT systems environments and demonstrated skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Desirable Expertise (Candidates that are put forward have at least one of the below):
- Experience with the Masterpiece and/ or common Finance Management cloud solutions (highly desirable).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (Cloud) (highly desirable).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Reporting tools including Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI/FAW), Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (highly desirable).
- Design and build database tables, relationships and custom objects (highly desirable).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Autonomous Data Warehouse, OCI Data Integrator.
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL (highly desirable).
- Experience in Oracle VBCS and APEX (highly desirable).
- Experience with integration development within MuleSoft or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (highly desirable).
- Understanding of REST/SOAP/WSDL (highly desirable).
- Produce technical specifications and unit test scripts for solutions developed (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in working on large scale complex projects.
