Description:
As the Systems Network Administrator at MUJI Store Support Service, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user platforms while acting as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and service requests. You will also play a key role in operational cybersecurity activities, supporting vulnerability management, security monitoring, access management, incident response, and compliance initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.

What a Day Looks Like

As part of a lean and hands-on IT team, no two days are the same. You’ll balance operational support, problem-solving, and project work while working closely with stores and business teams. A typical day may include:

• Monitoring system health, security alerts, and overnight incidents, ensuring any issues are quickly triaged and resolved
• Supporting store teams with IT issues across POS, network connectivity, and Microsoft 365 applications
• Troubleshooting and resolving Level 2/3 incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence
• Managing user access, device compliance, and system configurations across Microsoft 365 and infrastructure platforms
• Coordinating with vendors or Group IT on escalations, system updates, and ongoing technical initiatives
• Managing hardware and software procurement, including sourcing, ordering, and coordinating delivery for new stores, renovations, or office setups
• Performing device setup, system testing, and deployment to ensure all technology is ready for store openings or office moves
• Working on project tasks such as new store openings, refurbishments, infrastructure upgrades, or security improvements
• Maintaining documentation and ensuring systems, configurations, and processes are kept up to date
• Identifying opportunities to improve IT operations, automation, and user experience across the business

In this role, you’ll be expected to take ownership, be proactive, and adapt quickly, while also having the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation. Skills and Experiences:

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in infrastructure, systems, or network administration within a mid-sized or multi-site environment
• Strong operational experience with Microsoft 365, including identity and access management (Entra ID), device management (Intune), and core service
• Proven experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and enterprise backup and recovery solutions
• Solid networking experience, including configuration and support of firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks (day-to-day operations and troubleshooting expected)
• Practical cybersecurity experience, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, access control, and response to security alerts
• Experience in incident and problem management, including logging, prioritising, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and driving resolution within agreed service levels
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle Level 2/3 issues, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
