Takeaway Shop Assistant

Located in Porirua Suburbs. Wanting someone for 25 hours per week from 1 March until 31 May 2025. Fixed term role with potential to extend to the right person.

Must have previous experience working with food and in a fast paced environment. Must have customer service experience and skills. Looking for some who can see what needs to be done and get on and do it without needing to be constantly managed.

Training will be given

Days needed are

Thursday 4 hours evening

Friday 9 hours from (midday to 9pm)

Saturday 7 hours ( 1pm to 8pm)

Sunday 7 hours ( 1 pm to 8pm)

Some flexibility is desirable as there may be more hours sometimes

You need to be clean and tidy and able to get to the suburban location. Train and busy stops are close by

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $24.50 – $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

• Afternoon shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Customer service or hospitality: 1 year (Required)
