As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our busy People and Culture Team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for attracting, identifying, and securing top talent for our organization. You will partner with hiring managers across our engineering to understand their recruitment needs and use your expertise to develop targeted strategies to source, screen, and hire exceptional candidates.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the recruitment process for a variety of engineering roles across different business units.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, department culture, and team dynamics to ensure a great fit.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach, using a mix of traditional and creative methods.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.
- Provide a seamless and positive candidate experience, maintaining clear communication at every stage of the process.
- Support with onboarding efforts to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to promote Crossmuller as an employer of choice.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, preferably within the engineering sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Seek, etc.).
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

This is a full-time permanent position within our team. To be successful in this role you must be motivated and be willing to put in the effort required to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
