Introduction:
Join Our Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist!
About Spiire
We are an integrated team of passionate surveyors, civil engineers, landscape architects, town planners, urban designers, water engineers, digital specialists and visual media artists providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. Our team of more than 350 people work across ten offices in VIC, NSW, SA, QLD and the ACT.
Our Melbourne office is looking to grow our P&C team to support all forms of talent acquisition, with a strong focus on workforce planning and crafting impactful candidate journeys. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build, develop and grow your own pipelines within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
Description:
About the Role
Are you a connector, a storyteller, and a strategist all rolled into one? At Spiire, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s passionate about finding great people and creating memorable candidate experiences. You’ll play a key role in shaping our workforce and building our brand across universities, communities, and careers.
In this dynamic role, you’ll lead direct sourcing efforts through platforms like LinkedIn and Seek, while also building external talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and regional locations. You’ll collaborate closely with our agency partners to ensure a seamless recruitment process, all while maintaining a high standard of candidate care—responding promptly, offering constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of respect and transparency.
You’ll take the lead on our graduate intake program—crafting engaging ads across social media and university channels, managing candidates, and coordinating assessment centres that reflect our culture and values. You’ll also build strong relationships with universities, unlocking opportunities for Spiire to connect through career fairs, student placements, guest lecturing, and more.
Your work will extend to brand awareness initiatives, leveraging LinkedIn, university networks, and industry associations to keep Spiire top of mind for top talent. You’ll also provide regular reporting on key recruitment metrics to ensure our efforts are data-informed and continuously improving.
As a champion of capability building, you’ll support hiring managers with interview training, question libraries, and guidance on unconscious bias—ensuring every candidate interaction reflects our inclusive mindset. Diversity, equity, and inclusion will be central to your approach, from crafting inclusive job ads to building balanced shortlists and nurturing community partnerships.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally across both agency and in-house environments
Strong sourcing skills and a creative approach to candidate engagement
A passion for employer branding and delivering exceptional candidate experiences
Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment analytics
A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders
A strong commitment to DE&I principles and inclusive hiring practices.
Our Culture
At Spiire, we believe our culture is our difference. We’re a forward-thinking, people-centric organisation that recognises the importance of working as one team towards a common goal. As a successful and growing employee-owned business, we recognise and reward the contributions of our people and provide real opportunities and pathways for career progression.
Here’s a snapshot of what’s on offer:
Health and wellbeing events promoting physical and mental wellbeing
An extension of leave benefits including study leave, volunteer days and floating public holidays
Connect with your colleagues through regular social initiatives including team events, social club and happy hours
As a part of our People and Capability team, you’ll be joining a supportive team that values curiosity, collaboration, and a good dose of banter! If you’re ready to make an impact and help shape the future of our workforce, we’d love to hear from you.
