The Role

This is a key role working from our National Support Office in Ellerslie that requires a highly competent and tactical individual to develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies for the wider Australian and New Zealand businesses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Direction: working closely with senior management, HRBP's and other stakeholders across Australia and NZ to create and implement a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our EVP, and establish a Centre of Excellence functionality across both businesses
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development: develop and execute sourcing strategies for both high-volume recruitment and early careers development campaigns, build active and passive talent pipelines and identify talent pools whilst enhancing the candidate experience
  • Market Research and Intelligence: conduct market analysis and research with a focus on competitive intelligence, as well as provide data driven insights to business partners and key stakeholders
  • Candidate Engagement and Relationship Management: Increase and broaden the use of multiple media and engagement channels, organise and coordinate talent events, build beneficial relationships with active and passive talent communities
  • Stakeholder and Quality Management: Partner with external agencies, effectively screen, introduce and present top talent to the business, update stakeholders on recruitment performance and market trends as well as continually assess, optimise and recommend innovate strategies and sourcing methods


To be successful you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience within a similar recruitment or talent acquisition role
  • Proven knowledge of tactical talent acquisition strategies within both a corporate and operational environment
  • Previous experience working with both high-volume and early careers recruitment
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to Senior level of computer proficiency, inclusive of a range of recruitment tools, systems and ATS platforms
  • To be a data-driven individual who enjoys and can adapt quickly to working in a fast-evolving environment
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management skills that are second-to-none, with added ability to present to high-level stakeholders
  • The flexibility to be able to travel both nationally and internationally as and when required
